By desire of the Committee of this bhamber I have the honour to lay before you
the
April, 1886. enclosed correspondence which has taken place
between this Chamber and the boxcautive of this
Colorry,
on the important subject of Quarantince Regulations.
The Regulations, as you will gather from the correspondence, press most unduly and unfairly on Foreign Shipping frequenting the Fort, while Chinese vessels, from which infinitely greater danger of dissemination of disease in to be apprebended, practically, escape.
